Every DMD Retro must pass rigorous impact absorption, retention, and structural integrity tests before earning this certification. It guarantees your helmet meets the highest current European safety requirements and is legally recognised.
Yes, the Retro has a recess in the interior liner designed for communications units. You can neatly fit your device there without disrupting fit or comfort. This gives you flexibility to add comms later without needing a different helmet. You'll need to purchase the communications system separately.
Gently wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. For the shell, you can use helmet-specific cleaners. The interior liner is fully removable and machine-washable—detach it and wash with water and mild detergent. Allow it to dry completely before reattaching.
