The D-Tail is a universal taillight with an adjustable mounting bracket, making it compatible with most motorcycles. Its compact 30mm lens diameter and 31mm depth allow it to fit into tight spaces. However, we recommend checking your bike's rear fender clearance before purchasing.
Installation is straightforward. Clean the mounting area thoroughly, apply the included double-sided tape to the bracket, position it on your fender, and secure it with the stainless steel M6 hardware. The adjustable bracket allows you to fine-tune the angle for optimal visibility.
The D-Tail operates on 12V, which is standard for most motorcycles. Ensure your motorcycle's electrical system provides 12V before installation. If your bike runs on 6V, you will need a voltage converter.
The D-Tail features a clear lens that is integrated into the housing design. While the lens itself may be difficult to replace separately, the entire taillight unit is built from durable zinc alloy to resist damage. Contact Dapper Motor if you need replacement parts.
