Why do I need a shock absorber with separation piston?

In horizontal mounting, gas and oil mix in regular shock absorbers, causing the damping to stop working. The YSS shock has a separation piston that prevents this.

Is this kit TÜV approved?

The YSS shock absorber has TÜV approval for safety. The complete system has no ABE approval as it's a custom modification.

Can I adjust the damping?

Yes, you can adjust both preload and rebound using the black adjustment knob at the bottom of the shock absorber.
