About this manual
This is the manual BMW supplied with the motorcycle, not a reprint or a summary. It covers the K100, K100 RS, K100 RT, K100 LT built between 1983 and 1992, and it is the book to reach for when you want the figure the factory intended: the oil the engine takes, the gap on a spark plug, the pressure in the tires, which fuse protects which circuit.
For work that goes beyond the owner's handbook, the exploded view drawings carry the official part number for every component on the bike, and our service sheet lists the torque figures and capacities double-checked against factory documentation.
